My friends backed my craziest ideas and we were on a roll. Ideas travel fast in hostel dorms. Soon, my batchmates were hooked to the chai masala blend.
That’s when it hit me — “This can be something big. There’s a clear market gap.”
Turns out, most bestselling masala chai brands barely had 3-4% actual masala in them. And the big spice companies? They weren’t even focusing on their chai masalas — too busy selling their bestselling SKUs.
What started as one campus-made blend turned into a flavour-packed journey.
